CORN TORTILLA






Ingridient
  • 2 lbs of fine maize flour/corn flour
  • 1 lb grams wheat flour
  • 30 grams  salt
  • 400 ml warm water
  • Shortening ( olive oil, margarin)
 Directions:
  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Stir and knead until smooth or completely flat.
  3. Roll the dough up to 0.25 cm thick.
  4. Print by 15-18 cm diameter round molds.
  5. Heat a flat pan, basting with oil. Fry each sheet of dough to yellowish sides.
    Remove then serve this corn tortilla with any toppings you like.


Versi  II
bahan :
 4 cup all purpose flour
 1/4 tsp BP
2 tbs Shortening (olive oil, margarin)
2 tspSalt
1 1/2 cup warm to hot water

Direction :
Campur tepung, garam, BP aduk rata
Masukan shortenig dan air hangat aduk rata hingga kalis, istirahatkan adonan kurleb 15 min.
Adonan dibulat2 kemudian diamkan 5 min.
Pipihkan adonan hingga tipis (kalo tidak tipis adonan tidak bisa mengembang dg sempurna ketika dipanggang)
Panaskan pan (wajan datar) kemudain taruh adonan yang telah dipipihkan  diatas wajan , kecilkan api...panggang hingga matang
